A renowned tenor and always exciting speaker, Andrés will take us through the  fashions and changes of madrigals and other music and singing in Renaissance English music at the centre of the Tudor and Jacobean courts.

Discover the composers that literally had to “change their tune” according to the religious and political vagaries of 16^th  & early 17^th century England. This marked the transition from Renaissance to Baroque music in England.

Enjoy great music ranging from intimate lute songs to grand 40-part choral pieces, Italian inspired madrigals to exquisite consort  music and in particular Orlando Gibbons and English Virginalist School and English Madrigal School.
