Stephen Poulter returns to Attleborough to piece together biographies of a section of rural society which has, until recently, been largely ignored and marginalised.

Working from a collection of original manuscripts from the County Archives  along with online research to reveal the stories of women from across the social spectrum who lived between 1500 and1900 including a Lady of the Manor, an elderly widow accused of witchcraft, and a Georgian Gentlewoman.
