Chad Goodwin is known to many of our supporters and has a long career as an adult education tutor.  His background is in landscape history and he always enjoys getting into the radical politics and democracy  within our local natural environment.

The Norman Conquest is often regarded as the biggest land-grab in British history and the descendants of many of the original Norman barons still own the same huge estates today, while only 8% of England & Wales is available to public access.

This course examines the history of all this and of the occasional revolt against the inequality, especially in response to enclosures.  –     Plenty to discuss is guaranteed.
