Wendy is a university tutor  in History, Art and Architecture. This course will look at painting and sculpture illustrating the way in which patronage has changed from the early renaissance through the 17th century. This will lead onto how patronage changed through the 19th century and the role of art galleries in how art was viewed.

It will feature the works of Michelangelo, Donatello and Fra Angelico to Caravaggio, Bernini, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Hals, Reubens, Holbein and van Dyck before considering the Impressionists and Pre-Raphaelites.
